Field Surveys are a key element of Micronet's business. The survey of microwave paths are a key element of propagation studies for the prediction of path performance.
Whether the task is validating a microwave communications path, or documenting a communications facilities site, Micronet has the knowledge and experience to do it right, and uses the latest state-of-the art equipment to achieve the maximum levels of efficiency possible.
All of Micronet's survey activities are based on differential survey-grade GPS receivers, capable of sub-meter accuracy.
Theodolites are utilized as necessary for long range optical measurements to centimeter accuracy, and the laser ranger for near-in obstacles. Data logging software reads both the laser ranger and the GPS outputs to provide a highly detailed record of each measurement session.
