The survey of microwave paths are a key element of propagation studies for the prediction of path performance and these surveys have been a staple of Micronet's business from day one. Inexpensive desktop applications are useful for a general characterization of link clearance characteristics, but field measurements are ultimately necessary to arrive at precise obstruction measurements and accurate coordinates. Micronet has been providing high-accuracy field measurements for over 30 years. Precision GPS measurements and specialized software make for quick and accurate determination of on-path obstructions. Use of laser rangefinding devices means obstacle height determination - and, thus, Fresnel penetration - can be made at a very high resolution.
In addition to accurate, efficient field measurements, Micronet provides detailed survey findings in a compact, useful format.
